JB logs another state!

JB has now been to 5 states with the addition of our weekend trip to Grand Junction, Colorado. We met Holly and Theo there for a great weekend enjoying the surrounding mountain biking trails and winerys! It was a perfect get-away in between Denver and Park City, and it was perfect timing to have a mini vacation before heading back to work today! Just wanted to post a few new pictures of JB. He is growing so fast, and even getting chubby! He continues to be a very happy baby and a great sleeper -- we are so lucky!

JB enjoyed kicking back to watch the ND football game with Dad while Theo took the girls biking.

JB cheered on his own, and Dad also helped him celebrate an Irish touchdown.

JB did not like the outcome of the game, but he quickly got over it...

After a short nap, JB had to chaperone the adults at the tasting rooms. He is learning how to sit up, but his balance make him appear as though he was the one enjoying the wine!

Before heading home, we even got to introduce JB to our good friend Garrett on Sunday. It was a great weekend all around!

JB's Travels

We have been having so much fun that I haven't found any time to update our blog! JB has now been on three round trip flights and visited 4 states besides Utah! He has been a great traveler!

In early September, I took JB with my parents for a short day trip to Los Angeles to visit his Great Grandfather, Hank. It was such a treat to have four generations together! JB is Hank's first great grandchild, and Hank is JB's only living great grandparent. Even though neither of them will really remember the visit, it was so special that we could introduce them.

A few days after the trip to L.A. we took off for Florida to vacation with some of Joe's family near Seaside for a week. JB got to meet three sets of aunts and uncles, and his cousins Clare, Kate and Marin. We rented a big house, where we had lots of room to laugh, play, cook, eat, and relax. We stayed in Watercolor, where there are many pools, beach access, and bike trails throughout the resort neighborhood. Then, this past weekend, we visited John, Suzanne, Clare and Kate in Chicago. We had the luxury of watching the Bears - Lions football game from John's company's suite, and we were also joined by Bob and Karen! We had a great visit!

JB has now been sleeping through the night for about a month and has settled into a nice schedule. Last Friday, he also started rolling over from his tummy to his back. We look forward to seeing the next tricks he adds to his bag! I will be returning to work on October 19th, and while I'll miss my days at home with JB, I know we have a great situation with grandparents and a neighbor to take care of him during the day. The weather is nice and crisp here in Park City, and we have had a few fall snow storms already!
