Well, there are many posts I want to write, but I'm going to settle for getting everything into one so that we can catch you up on what has been going on in our lives.We have had a fun and eventful fall enjoying the fall colors, getting moved into our new house, watching football, studying, and traveling to South Bend.
We moved into our house at the end of September, and we love it! It is so nice to have a place of our own and have room to spread out. I have a nice little office, which is actually a separate building off the back of the house, and Joe has his "man cave," which is an upstairs loft area that was finished off from a previous attic. We still have boxes to unpack and things to organize, but I have come to accept (grudgingly!) the minor chaos. We are desperately waiting for a dry day without rain or snow so we can get the aspen leaves raked up and the patio furniture (from Mary's place in Longmont!) put away before the snow sticks around. Ahhh, the joys of having a big yard of our own!
Joe has been busy with his review classes and studying for the CFP Board Exam, and luckily I have not had to travel too much for work. I went on a nice hike with my parents to see the beautiful fall colors in Park City, but we haven't been on any other big adventures around here lately. (That is, unless you call trips to Home Depot and Bed, Bath, and Beyond "adventures.")
We had a fantastic trip out to South Bend last weekend for the Dampeer-Steigner wedding. The wedding was beautiful, and it was so much fun to spend time with everyone when it wasn't our wedding! It was especially fun to be able to see my new nieces -- what fun to be part of such a big family!
