Two Months

It seems that we blinked, and JB is now 2 months old! He is doing great and continues to be a very happy and mild-mannered baby. We just had his two month doctor's visit, and he is now 10lbs 4 oz and 24 inches long! He is long and lean -- in the 25th percentile for his weight and 90th for his height! He was very brave for his immunizations and only cried for an instant! I have a fun video here of JB having a conversation (maybe more than a conversation at times) with his dad -- he definitely makes us laugh!

We had a wonderful weekend for JB's baptism on August 16th. Holly and Theo drove out from Denver, and Marcy and Jon visited from Dallas. "Uncle Mac" also joined us for all of the festivities during the weekend. The baptism mass was very nice, and JB did great during his time in the spotlight. He got to wear the beautiful baptismal gown made by his Brewer relatives in the 1860's! I am working on editing the video coverage, so stay tuned for that! Here are some photos in the meantime. Thanks to Marcy and Uncle Mac for already being wonderful Godparents to JB!

This past weekend we took JB out on the golf course for 9 holes, and luckily the golf pro didn't see us until we were leaving to inform us that this was not allowed! Oh well, we all survived and had a great morning. We have also taken JB to the pool in preparation for our trip to Florida -- he is very excited. Videos and pictures of that to come, too!

Too cute! Glad to see that JB is very accomodating to your still active life, I think that's awesome. He is a skinnie minnie, my kids doubled their weight at 6 weeks, Michael was 15 lbs at 6 weeks and he hasn't stopped growing since. He now towers over me by an entire foot. (That would make him 6'6"). Maybe we can all hook up while the boys are out west.

It was such a wonderful weekend. Looks like he just slept through that exciting game of golf. Very fun.
Thanks again.
Love, Marcy the Godmother!

Great photos. I keep trying to think of a new word for cute that can accurately describe JB. And what a talker! I think I even see a little "Brewer" in him in the bathtub picture.
